The cost of a UAE net-house cannot be estimated from area alone. Height, column grid, wind exposure, soil, mesh specification, doors, internal growing system and irrigation scope all change the material list.

Structural inputs

Commercial layouts require a verified column grid, perimeter and corner bracing, roof cable arrangement, anchoring method and corrosion protection. Wind-exposed edges and openings need special attention.

  • Clear height and column spacing
  • Galvanized column and cable specification
  • Corner and perimeter bracing
  • Concrete footing or approved anchoring

Net selection affects airflow

A finer insect net improves exclusion but increases resistance to airflow and wind load. Select mesh around the target pest, crop sensitivity, ventilation area and local conditions rather than choosing by price alone.

What changes the quotation

Final cost depends on steel weight and coating, net quality and UV life, door count, ground preparation, irrigation/fertigation, growing system, transport and installation. A site plan and crop brief produce a more reliable quotation than a square-metre request.
